Join the Fort Myers Beach Lion’s Club as they celebrate our local shrimp industry at our annual Shrimp Festival. There will be plenty of ‘pink gold’ or pink gulf shrimp that our area is famous for. Vendors, a parade and other activities are also part of the tradition.
Be aware the Matanzas Pass Bridge will close at 8:45am on Saturday March 7th for the Shrimp Fest Parade. It will reopen at noon. The Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival Parade stretches approximately 2 miles down Estero Boulevard, beginning at the Beach Elementary School parade loading zone and rolling all the way to the base of Matanzas Bridge on the beach side.
